BONAO
,founded by Columbus, with approx. 45,000 inhabitants, place of birth of the well-known paintor Cándido Bidó, was constructet in the middle of the valley of Bonao, where primarily they plant rice.
Tourists coming from Santo Domingo to the northcoast by the highway Duarte are touching the town of Bonao. Many merchants are selling at theirs stands beside the highway agricultural and ceramic products.
